Sonbola Choir

Sonbola Choir was established in 2014 in collaboration between Fayha Choir and the Association Sonbola for Syrian Refugees in Lebanon funded by Nai Association in Austria.

The project gathers 200 Syrian refugee children from different camps in the region of Bekaa in Lebanon. The project aims to help children to overcome their trauma and find a way into the civilian life through music: Music is known to be a healing mean and an excellent one to cope with trauma. Music, not only stimulates and develops one child’s creativity, it is also a channel of communication and, Music has the power of bringing people together. The choir gave many concerts in Beirut, Tripoli and Bekaa.
